BBL therapy uses light energy from a handheld device to gently heat the upper layers of your skin. With the introduction of BBL HERO, traditional BBL has received an upgrade with increased speed, shortened pulse width, high peak power, and twice the cooling capacity of the original procedure to keep irritation minimal. As the heat is absorbed, skin cells in the treatment area will start rapid regeneration, correcting blemishes and the effects of age. The effect ultimately restores skin, making it clearer, smoother, and more vibrant. We can treat age spots, small facial veins, and many other skin conditions.
How Long Is the BBL HERO Procedure?
The procedure is gentle and safe, and for most treatment areas, takes no more than 30 to 45 minutes. You may experience some minor discomfort as the light energy is applied in short bursts across the treatment area. Some minor swelling may occur after the treatment, so avoid activities in harsh sunlight, but it usually subsides within a day or two. You should have no trouble returning to most of your normal routines and activities.
What is the Recovery Time for BBL HERO?
All of our laser procedures are noninvasive and require limited downtime. The skin may be red and sensitive for a few hours as if you are slightly sunburned, but it will heal within a few days. Although some patients experience some mild discomfort, this should not affect your ability to continue with daily activities. To minimize discomfort and maximize healing for radiant results, our experts at Panacea Aesthetics advise patients to regularly cleanse and moisturize skin, wear sunscreen, and avoid hot water and being outdoors for extended periods.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?
We recommend a series of treatments that are scheduled every two to six weeks apart. You may see results after just one session, but a full series will offer long-term results and benefits. Regardless of how many sessions you select, however, we highly encourage appropriate skin care and sunscreen use.

How much does BBL cost?
Our team will be able to estimate your costs during your initial consultation as soon as your BBL plan is developed. BBL costs will depend on what area(s) you are having treated, the size of the treatment area(s), and how many treatments you will need. How many treatments will I need?
How many BBL treatments you need can be estimated in your initial consultation once your skin's condition has been assessed. On average, patients achieve their skin goals after three appointments. Although, if you have serious pigmentation, discoloration, or sun damage, you might need more treatments. During your consultation, our providers will consider your goals and create your BBL plan. Your treatments will be scheduled about one month apart so your skin can rest.
What areas can be treated with BBL?
